Dalia has been involved in the studies of Oriental Dance, both folkloric and classical, for over twenty-seven years. Her numerous years of experience in the field of Middle Eastern Dance are reflected in her technical knowledge, and the passion and enthusiasm that she weaves into her own dramatic, innovative style. Dalia teaches the student the art of air and line design, and the dramatic use of space. These concepts are important for the student/dancer for performances in theater, dance festivals, or nightclub settings. Dalia focuses not only on technique, but on the feeling and attitude that is imperative when one studies this ancient, sensual and rhythmic art form. Dalia's Oriental classes include combinations and choreographies both Middle Eastern and Folkloric, veil work, entrances and exits, drum solos and composition, hip articulations, and slow improvisational taksims.
